Basketball was always my sport. It just took me until my second year of college for me to realize that I was a better baseball player than a basketball player. But basketball was always my number one love. Finally found out I was better at baseball and chose to pursue that route.

Once I grew from 6'1' to about 6'6', by that time I was going into 12th grade, and that's when I started wanting to play basketball, because, pretty much basketball players always got the girl.

Basketball was my whole life until I was 20 years old. All I knew was basketball. Then came golf, and I thought that's all I wanted to do then.

I was pretty much seen as a basketball player coming out of high school. Football was my second love, but luckily, I turned out to be pretty good. Something just drew me to football; besides, I ended up being too short for my position in basketball.

My greatest gift that I have in life is basketball.

Honestly, the only thing I loved when I was a kid was basketball. I was an athlete when I was a kid, and that was it.

I always wanted to be a basketball player. Nothing more, nothing less.

I played basketball when I was little because it was fun for me. It still is now. I just love it. I have a passion for it.

For me, being tall was very positive because I thought my mom was the most beautiful person ever.
