I carry earplugs and use them even when it's quiet.

I've always worn earplugs, but I'm sure my hearing's not great.
Are you going to come quietly, or do I have to use earplugs?
There's never a bad time to put earplugs in. They're the kind of thing you can reject as a bit lame, but somebody told me to do start wearing earplugs and it turned out to be great advice.
When I work out, I wear two in-the-ear hearing aids for comfort, and then I wear the behind-the-ears for my day-to-day non-physical activities, when I need maximum hearing and to communicate with people and do interviews!
I can't be quiet, as that's when I notice the ringing in my ears.
I find this mortifying to admit, but I have one of those balls that helps my posture. They're hard to sit on, so it stops me from sitting too long... I always have my Bose headphones. I have to have the noise-cancelling headphones.
I'm noise-sensitive. It's always better for me if things are quiet, so I can concentrate.
I can't stand having cold air blowing in my ears, so when it's cold at my house, or if I am outside, I am going to have my ears covered up.
I have a pretty good ear.
