I had a pretty steep learning curve in film - as I'm still learning.

I grew up watching films. Film has been part of my life since I was a child.

Film brings together framing and light and color and performance and music and all of that. To me, everything I've done in my life has been preparing me for filmmaking.

I do enjoy film. The more I do it the more I learn.

I always start a film thinking I know how to do it, then I learn all over again.

I view filmmaking as a director's medium.
