Because of the Thames I have always loved inland waterways - water in general, water sounds - there's music in water. Brooks babbling, fountains splashing. Weirs, waterfalls; tumbling, gushing.

I love the water. Everything about it. Smelling the humidity in the air, seeing the mist rise in the morning, feeling the dew-wet grass on my bare feet. I love watching the fish jump and the geese land. We even have an eagle here that circles every so often.

I loved the sound of the ocean, the breaking surf, the vastness, but still didn't feel terribly comfortable in it.

I love the water; I love to swim.

I love the sea's sounds and the way it reflects the sky. The colours that shimmer across its surface are unbelievable. This, combined with the colour of the water over white sand, surprises me every time.

My favorite sounds are the high, spacey ones that are very ambient.

I search for different tonalities in my taps. But my greatest pleasure is hearing a note I haven't heard before, hearing a chord that sparks something new.

I'm such a big TLC fan, so I love singing 'Waterfalls' in the shower.

I enjoy the more floaty, exposed, elegant singing.
