I hope that in future Congresses there will reemerge a recognition that climate change is a reality, that our policies to meet our energy needs must also deal responsibly with environmental issues, including the damage caused by greenhouse gas emissions.

I am optimistic globally. So many scientists are working frantically on the reparation of our planet.

I believe that the quantum of our knowledge will increase considerably in the coming years and that scientists will continue to be amongst the brave voices speaking out.

So now, if we don't fund the physical sciences, where will the Next Big Thing come from?

I hope I'll be remembered for my scientific contribution to understanding life and human life.

We are going to have the best educated American people in the world.

And, that's what I truly believe that we're doing when we're advancing scientific knowledge is we're someday making the world better. Not only for our children, but for all people after that.

I'm hopeful that we'll be able to study the ocean before we destroy it.

I hope for all of us that the future brings us towards evolving our consciousness. To delving deeper into our true power. To exploring more the key to sustaining our planet and our art for the better of all living things.
