There are fantastic stories yet to be told featuring Marvel's characters, old and new, and I'm thrilled to be part of them.

I've been a fan of the Marvel Universe since I was a little child.

I was a Marvel guy. I started reading comics when I was a kid.

Once I found out that I was playing 'Deathlok,' I unearthed my old comic book collection. I was going home for Christmas, and I have a collection of thousands of comics. I was surprised to see that 90% of them were Marvel. So, I wanted to go through my collection and start there.

When you write for a comic series, many superheroes have 60 or some years of history that you are coming into.

As you get older, you realise your parents aren't these superheroes. They're actually people.

Age is a terrible avenger. The lessons of life give you so much to work with, but by the time you've got all this great wisdom, you don't get to be young anymore.

It's great to have loads of Marvel movies, but the movies that reflect our lives - that's why I came to the movies, and that's what I love. I want to see stories about my life being reflected back at me, and there's not that many of those anymore. It's a real shame.

I love being an older comic now. It's like being an old soccer or an old baseball player. You're in the Hall of Fame and it's nice, but you're no longer that person in the limelight on the spot doing that thing.
