People are very much worried that our kids are not going to inherit the same opportunities that we inherited from our parents.

What about our children and grandchildren and their children and grandchildren? Do we not want them to live healthy and happy lives?

My children were born into this. They will always be the grandchildren of the President and First Lady of the United States.

As apostles and prophets, we are concerned not only for our children and grandchildren but for yours as well - and for each of God's children.

Children... are our legacy. Our responsibility. They are our destiny and we are theirs. The extent to which we fail as parents, we fail as God's children.

You have to put your kids first no matter what; that's how I feel.

My husband and I, when we had our five children and they were grown, we thought we were entitled to grandchildren. And so we were just expecting this to happen; of course, nothing was happening. And then we kept begging, bribing, cajoling, anything - threatening to adopt our own grandchildren - and finally, we got some grandchildren.

We need to do whatever it takes to get our children together and pay attention to them, because that's our future. What's in the hearts and minds of our children is what's in our future.
