The best thing about being on tour is meeting the fans.

In my work, I just want to tell a story and help people go on a journey. I'm glad any fans that I do have, and I'm usually not aware of it until I get out there or read a message board. I want to thank everyone who follows my work.

I've never been one for keeping a journal, so my songs were my journals. They allowed me to express my feelings and let people know what was going on with me. I knew that somebody would relate.

When we finished the tour we had been writing together for a year. We moved forward from there and have just now finished our record. We're having a new record out in the Spring.

The best memories on tour are always of kids who tell me they are going to run back to their classrooms and start writing!

Touring is always important to me. It's like a big IOU to my fans, because I know they are the reason I exist.

When we've finished the current tour I'm going to go back to Italy and see if I can do some more writing.

I tend to write better when I'm not touring.

Each album has its own cycle. We wanted to capture all those feelings and moments for this touring cycle.

That whole lifestyle - make a record, do a tour: I know how to do that. It doesn't interest me.
