I've gotten to jump into a lot of different things. And either being bold enough or dumb enough or naive enough to believe I could play them all, it's an exercise of self-delusion.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
A lot of the characters I play are very naive, and I don't think I'm like that. And I'm not stupid!
I just have my own taste, and I just try and stick with that. I'm just trying to play as many characters as I can for as long as I have an opportunity to.
Playing is my way of thinking, talking, communicating.
I just like the prospect of playing lots of different types of characters and just the opportunity to challenge yourself, do something different and surprise people.
You know, I have some issues. But I just love to play different characters all the time, and I try not to repeat myself too much.
I wonder why I keep playing such intelligent people?
Often times, I'm surprised by what I'm writing or what I'm playing, and then that inspires me to keep going with it, so it ends up being a very adventurous process.
Whenever I play something, everybody just thinks that's who I am.
I try to just be the person I am, with a lot of sensitivity to the genre in which I'm playing.
I don't really ever think in terms of what type of person I'd love to play. I usually just read stuff and can tell. It's always fun to get to do things that stretch you and that you don't get to do a lot, but you never know until you see it.
