I am severely distracted these days. It's hard to sit in front of the computer, uploading bad music for hours, when you have a wonderful boyfriend who treats you like a Goddess.

I'm pretty much using media all day because my school is online. It's sort of like homeschooling but also like going to real school - you log in and do all your work and email it to the teacher, and we have a teacher who oversees us on set.

Probably the thing I use most in media is video games, but I have to limit myself. If I wake up super early in the morning, and I'm not tired, I'll play video games until everybody gets up.

We're surrounded by distractions. Whether it's emails, phone calls, text messages, social media notifications, or people entering and leaving your workspace, those distractions end up eating a good portion of your time.

I get up, get coffee, and go into my home office. I check email and Twitter before I start work, but I have to try not to get too distracted.

Watching movies is my one distraction.

I just sit around at home, and I have nothing to do, so I am on the Internet all the time.

If I leave my computer, I'm probably not going to get back for hours. If I take a few minutes to answer questions and go web surfing, then guilt kicks in and I get back to work.

I write in the mornings once the kids have gone to school, taking my laptop and a coffee to a little writer's room in town where I plant noise-cancelling headphones on my head and get to work.
