Personally, I don't trust people who go out of their way to state they never read or watch horror and insist there's something wrong with those of us who do.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I have to admit that I really don't care for horror movies all that much. I think mainly just because I'm a cheap scare.
I love horror movies. I mean, who doesn't like a good horror movie every once in a while? It's fun to get scared.
I'm not a horror fan. I'm an anti-horror fan. I think horror fans feel deep down in the pit of their souls, they feel safe, and therefore bored. And therefore they want to be scared.
I think some horror authors are trying to scare you, but with me, I'm as scared as the reader is of the story. I've always been that way, since watching the 'Twilight Zone' movie - watching 'Firestarter' when my parents were out, or sneaking out to watch 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' at a friend's house because I couldn't watch it at my house.
I love watching horror films because I don't get scared easily.
I don't watch horror movies because they scare me!
I hate horror movies! I avoid them like the plague. I don't like getting scared.
Horror movies don't exist unless you go and see them, and people always will.
Horror fans are very passionate people, and they are very much into the 'Saw' thing. So they watch sometimes as carefully as the writers and producers do, in terms of the way the story plays out.
There are some people who shouldn't watch horror films, and I'm all right with that.
