Cursive writing does not mean what I think it does.

For some reason when I write in cursive, it's easier and flows better for me to read that when I print.
Penmanship means a lot to me. I don't have cursive penmanship, though. I've created my own penmanship. It's very clear. Everyone can read it. I write things down all day long.
Writing requires an intense inner focus, and sometimes you need to express outward, physically or socially.
I believe that writing is derivative. I think good writing comes from good reading.
The correctness and quality of what you write do not matter; the act of writing does.
My feeling is that writing is, for me, a pathological condition. That could sound like a mystical experience, and it may be a mystical experience, but I have learnt just to go with it.

Good writing does not come from verbiage but from words.
At its best, the sensation of writing is that of any unmerited grace. It is handed to you, but only if you look for it.
That isn't writing at all, it's typing.
