I've been lucky. The projects I've gotten to work on are projects I'd want to watch myself. That's what I try to shoot for.

I want to lead. I want to change. And I'm going to do it.

We've got to prove that we can lead, and I'm going to be all-in to help prove that.

I really just compete against myself. I look at my previous material and try to surpass what I've done.

I think I owe it to myself to put my best effort forward and prove how good I can be.

But only if I believe that my directing talents will improve the material I'd be working on. I want to make sure I don't sacrifice beautiful material on the altar of my direction.

I always feel I can play a role - just give me the time to do the preparation and I'll be it.
