More than anything, I realize I've been blessed to make great music.

Beyond a certain point, the music isn't mine anymore. It's yours.

As long as I'm blessed and/or cursed to be alive, it's hard to see a time when I won't be making music.

Music can be healing, and with my history and my knowledge of both sides of what looks like a gigantic divide in the world, I feel I can point a way forward to our common humanity again.

That's what I enjoy most about my music - that it heals in its own time and makes us look at ourselves in its own time.
