The more information you have, the more human our heroes become and consequently the less mysterious and godlike. They need to be godlike.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
We need no fanciful teaching regarding the personality of God. What God desires us to know of Him is revealed in His word and His works. The beautiful things of nature reveal His character and His power as Creator.
You have to be delicate with how you can portray characters other people are having a worship over.
We must be careful, as we seek to become more and more godlike, that we do not become discouraged and lose hope.
Human character is just endlessly fascinating, and there is no character who is one thing any more than any one person is just one thing. As you work on a character, he/she is revealed more and more. That's what I continue to love about the work.
Those who kept their sanity and humanity intact in the face of awful adversity. Heroes named and unnamed, some known only to God.
I like to put my characters through a lot, so, in 'Talon,' my fans will find familiar themes of bravery and sacrifice, and what it means to be human... even if you're not human.
My heroes don't have anything special. They have something to tell other people but they don't know how, so they talk to themselves.
You don't have to be peculiar to find God.
Heroes, whatever high ideas we may have of them, are mortal and not divine. We are all as God made us and many of us much worse.
What God wants is to reveal himself more fully to us.
