As a general thing, I have not 'duped the world' nor attempted to do so... I have generally given people the worth of their money twice told.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
I have been so copied by those people who have made fortunes that people assume I am that rich. But I did things for the excitement, the dare, the fact that it was new, not for the money. And too many times I was the first, not the beneficiary.
Personally, I've never done things just for money.
I've twice accidentally stolen something, and both times I went back and paid for them when I realized I had done it.
What I feel I am doing now is giving to the people exactly what they paid for but never actually heard before.
I have always given money away. I haven't always been wealthy - the opposite, in fact. But I have always felt that I wanted people to share it with me.
People who have money have an obligation. I wouldn't say I'm entitled to tell them what to do with it but to use it wisely.
One day I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere by blaming other people for my circumstances. I finally understood: Even if you feel someone has wronged you or owes you something, no one is going to give you anything for free.
There were times when I had maybe a couple of hundred dollars, and times I made myself think I was on top of the world.
I didn't defraud the government by taking money that was not mine.
I've never had to turn my hand to anything for monetary gain, other than pretending to be somebody else. I'm deeply fortunate.
