Thinking in generations also means enabling our young to have a decent standard of living.

This obedience to the voice of the Earth is more important for our future happiness... than the desires of the moment.

It is an understanding with the Great Spirit or Creator that we will follow these ways.

In listing these tendencies making for a new world, we must not forget developments in the religious or spiritual thinking and feeling of mankind, where also we feel a strong unifying trend.

The first view of the Earth is magical... in such a small planet, with such a small ribbon of life, so much goes on. It is as if the whole place is sacred. You get the feeling that I need to work extraordinarily hard along with other human beings to respect that.

These days too many of us seem inclined to cover our ears, close our eyes, and blindly follow the most narrow, conservative tenets of religion; or else seek comfort in the ancient traditions of New Age ritual.
