Brazil is where I belong, the place that feels like home. They love their family, their country and God, and are not afraid to let anybody know it.

I first came to Brazil in the Sixties. Then I started coming back every year since touring most of the country. I grew to love it, the people, the music. I thought this is where I belong. I've been living in Brazil for the past 23 years. I call it my stress-free country.

Brazil is not what you see but what you feel. Once you spend time here - a week, two weeks - you get in the vibe. It's really intoxicating.

My mom's Brazilian, so she and I definitely grew up with different perspectives. I was born in America, and she's from Brazil, so we have different ways of doing things. There's a bit of culture clash there.

I do go back to Brazil once a year. I miss my family.

Soon after I was born, my parents moved to the South Florida area, and I've lived here ever since (with a few years of living in both Portugal and Brazil in my younger days).

My mother is a proud Brazilian. I love visiting my family in Rio; the city and its people are so vibrant and amazing.

The most beautiful thing about Brazil that I always find that is so unlike any other place I've been in the world is the diversity of its people.

The Brazilians are amazing in their nature. You cannot describe it; you must feel that warmth when you're around them to understand.

I based in Brazil, Sao Paulo, but I come very often to the states, and I travel all over the world.
