I think the whole spoiler thing has taken over the media.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I don't like spoilers. I don't like things being spoiled.
There's not much TV these days where you really get that element of surprise. There are so many spoilers all the time.
I don't mind playing spoiler.
You always get told how important the premiere and doing the press is, but I have suspicions.
Let's be honest: nothing spoils 'The Walking Dead' quite like watching 'The Walking Dead.'
I was probably spoilt, if I'm being totally honest.
It's just coincidental that the acting took off first over everything else.
What happens is this sort of bleed-over from the tabloids across your movie work. You go to a movie, you only go once. But the tabloids and Internet are everywhere. You can really subsume the public image of somebody.
I mean, journalism is very detailed... you try to get down in the weeds and sort out exactly what happened. And I don't think that a feature film is really a place where that happens.
It's all about letting the story take over.
