I am trying to give whatever little fans I have as much information as they want from me. I don't want to come across as arrogant or mean by not telling or giving them what them I want. These are the people who make you a star.

Years ago, when I first started being a big star, I had fans that were fanatical. It was when 'Jolene' was a big hit.

Fans are my favorite thing in the world. I've never been the type of artist who has that line drawn between their friends and their fans. The line's always been really blurred for me. I'll hang out with them after the show. I'll hang out with them before the show. If I see them in the mall, I'll stand there and talk to them for 10 minutes.

No matter what people say, your fans are the ones that come to watch the movie or come to your shows and that's the most important thing.

Being on a television show and having so many fans is something that I've never experienced before, and it's really neat when they come up to you and are like, 'That storyline is amazing and really spoke to me in my life,' and it's really cool. I really enjoy it.

I'm more a fan of my fans than I think they are of me!

I know the difference between someone coming up to you on the street and saying, 'Hey, you're that dude, right. Yes, that's what I thought,' and somebody coming up and saying, 'Big fan of the show. Big fan of that character.' And that's nice. You're out there telling stories, you're hoping to find an audience, and it's very appreciated.
