Don't get me wrong, I've seen some very excellent women musicians.

I mean, I'm married first of all to one of, if not the most wonderful women in the world. She is everything - funny, attractive, hard-working, she has integrity, she loves me to bits.

I think woman is phenomenal, magnificent. I mean that sincerely.

When I'm with my wife, I know she's a beautiful woman. I know that, and more than that, it's what she is inside. She's beautiful inside; she loves music like I do. That's the thing that brought us together and probably keeps us together.

So many women just don't know how great they really are. They come to us all vogue outside and vague on the inside.

There are female artists I can look at that I find more in common with than the male artists, because they're blending the pop, dance and theatricality... but currently there aren't a lot of guys who go there.

Why can't there be a lot of great women who are doing great things?

I don't care for the music when they're talking bad about women because I think women are God's greatest gift to the planet - I just like music.
