If we want to defeat Hillary Clinton and have a chance to change the trajectory of our country, we need to unite behind the Republican ticket this November.

We need to do a lot more thinking about how the regime is going to evolve, how the bad guys are going to adapt their tactics, and what measures we're going to need in order to go forward.

We now have a political process, we've had a period of parties that have been fighting each other quite literally with bombs and bullets, talking to each other, and having sat together in the assembly and sharing government with each other.

When we get a chance to take part in elections, I am ready to fight for leading positions, including in the presidential vote.

Working together during the past three years, we have confounded the skeptics and the cynics. We've shown that here in Virginia, Democrats and Republicans can come together, put politics aside, and make tough decisions when times demand it.

Even though this is late in an election year, there is no way we can go forward except together and no way anybody can win except by serving the people's urgent needs. We cannot stand still or slip backwards. We must go forward now together.

Message to Obama: Fighting the Clinton machine won't be as easy as picking up favorable press clips.

Things move very slowly in politics. We seem to fight the same wars over and over again.

Going forward, we must continue the fight to change the direction of our country.

Together, we will lead our party back to the White House, and we will lead our country back to safety, prosperity, and peace.
