I'm not a big theory person. So when I get asked questions that demand serious statements, I just make it up.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
A lot of times when I sit down with the other comics and try to talk theory, they say I'm being too serious.
I'm not sure what theory is, unless it's the pursuit of fundamental questions.
If you ask almost any of them, 'Do you stand behind your theory? Is this the answer?' I think almost everyone would say, 'No, no, no. I'm just trying to expand the range of possibilities.' We really don't know what's going on.
I'm against people reading statements. When you read statement, I automatically take it as though you can't talk, and it's not real.
It's important to make a statement, but don't kill yourself over it. You have to make an effort, but not go overboard.
I'm not serious most of the time.
A theory must be tempered with reality.
I know my theories and findings are hard for you to accept because they are so original and extraordinary.
Somebody once asked me what my theory of life was, and I said, 'Don't try.' That fits the writing, too. I don't try; I just type.
Never abandon a theory that explains something until you have a theory that explains more.
