I did not particularly enjoy modeling. I felt I was only utilizing 10 or 20 percent of my abilities. In India, it's just another job.

As a child, I had no idea that I would end up in the film industry. My ambitions changed from wanting to join the army like my grandfather to taking up merchant navy as a career to running for India, and finally, investment banking while I was a student of economics honour. But during my college days, I began to get offers for modelling.

I started modelling while still studying. I liked doing television commercials and being in front of the camera. Lots of ad directors told me to try for films.

I'm really excited about furthering my film career in Bollywood and Hollywood.

I went to the U.S. to start my modeling career at a very young age. So, venturing into films and handling the pressure isn't a big task.

After graduating, I began auditioning for films while continuing to model. I did a few fashion shows, ad shoots, and even got a few Bollywood offers, but nothing great.

As an actor, I am only excited about doing good work - be it in mainstream Hindi cinema, Hollywood, a French film, or a Marathi movie.

I'm very used to being in India now and to working with actors and directors I'm comfortable with because I know them already.

I definitely want to work in Hindi films.

Part of me wonders what it would have been like to have had my first experience of India in a normal way, rather than through the eyes of a film.
