I like practicing law.
I've become very fond of the law. I've always been an advocate for justice, which occasionally the law brings to light.
I love judges, and I love courts. They are my ideals, that typify on earth what we shall meet hereafter in heaven under a just God.
I enjoyed practicing law.
After 25-plus years as a lawyer, prosecutor, and defense attorney, I have developed a deep appreciation for both the wisdom of the law and the role that jurists play in framing the rights and responsibilities that define our society.
I liked discussion and debate and thought that these skills fit well with law. I also had an interest in justice - and later learned that sometimes law and justice actually agree!
Everything I do is part of my passion.
My actual passion is getting things done.
My first endeavor was to save the core of the German system of justice: the independent judiciary.
I find the public passion for justice quite boring and artificial.
