I'm not just painting for painting's sake. I want to be truthful.

I did painting before I did photography.

Painting picture by picture, I followed the impressions my eye took in at heightened moments. I painted only memories, adding nothing, no details that I did not see. Hence the simplicity of the paintings, their emptiness.

Painting is not what my life is about, but it is very important to me, and I am very lucky to be able to give some time to it.

Art helped give me confidence.

I love beautiful things. I'm not into art so much, like paintings.

The world today doesn't make sense, so why should I paint pictures that do?
