I took this 'how to build computers' course basically because I'm sick and tired of getting ripped off by cheesy computer companies. Software baffles me. I like hardware. I used to change my own oil, and now I want to build my own computer so I can have what I want.

I use computers for email, staying current with my own website as well as finding important information through other websites. I also use it for creating MP3 files of new music I'm working on.

I just want to continue to produce good work. I don't want to do junk.

While I have never learned to use a computer, I am surrounded by family and friends who carry information to me from blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and various websites.

I've been programming computers since elementary school, where they taught us, and I stuck with computer science through high school and college.

I can keep learning about all the different technologies. It's my most telling characteristic. I'm interested in trying anything new.

In high school, one of the things I loved doing was this after-school program where you would teach computer skills to some of the maintenance folks at school.
