I have changed the style of functioning of the government and administration and managed to change the perception.
I stopped this one about two months before federation and I want the next one to be more political. It will deal with the formation of white Australian policy and things like that.

The mandate given to me was one of change.
I was very restless. I really wanted to be a part of a kind of a progressive society. I was fed up with these Communist doctrines and you were hassled all the time with members of the Party committee who were KGB, what you have to do, where in the West you can go or not to go.
The West was a wonderful world to me. I decided then that if this is the way they did things, then I wanted to be part of it.
My party is committed to a federation.
