Back, you know, a few generations ago, people didn't have a way to share information and express their opinions efficiently to a lot of people. But now they do. Right now, with social networks and other tools on the Internet, all of these 500 million people have a way to say what they're thinking and have their voice be heard.
Beware, all too often we say what we hear others say. We think what we are told that we think. We see what we are permitted to see. Worse, we see what we are told that we see.
More than anything else, we need in this society the opportunity for people to tell us what they think without being told that they're either dumb, or stupid, or uninformed.
Seems like everything people oughta know they just don't want to hear. I guess that's the big trouble with the world.
People are usually afraid to say what's on their mind.
People just want to know something, anything. It's all the stuff you never want to talk about, the private stuff.
We all not only could know everything. We do. We just tell ourselves we don't to make it all bearable.
People are so opinionated about things, and they don't even know what they're talking about, or can't even do it themselves.
Sometimes people complicate things by thinking too much about what someone might think of what they said or did.
I can, of course, think what I want, just like everyone else. I simply have to refrain from saying everything I think.
