When you choose to follow Christ, you choose to be changed.

Change can either challenge or threaten us. Your beliefs pave your way to success or block you.

If in preaching the gospel you substitute your knowledge of the way of salvation for confidence in the power of the gospel, you hinder people from getting to reality.

Our job is not to change people; our job is to connect people to Jesus, and it's Jesus' job to change people.

I have so much confidence in the reality of Jesus that I feel no pressure to try to make people act or be a certain way. I'm banking everything on the fact that God actually changes people.

I have never changed my message. I preach the Bible, and I preach it with authority.

If I can change than anyone can change. I promise you that.

Much as you would like, you are not going to change people who feel it's part of their religious commitment to 'save' you.

The gospel is entirely a message about what someone else has done not only for me but also for the renewal of the whole creation.

If you believe what you like in the gospels, and reject what you don't like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself.
