When you look back in history and see other fighters coming back, it's never really been good for them.
Right now, it's very difficult to single out one fighter, pound-for-pound, who is the best. Right now, it's very complex. Miguel Cotto, Mayweather and Zab Judah's a good fighter as well.

Fighters today are much bigger, stronger and quicker and not only that but referees, judges and doctors back then were very strict and if your head got busted up the fight would be stopped.
There have been many great fighters like Jake LaMotta, Roberto Duran, and Ricky Hatton. Hatton was a great inside fighter.
I think that standup has always been an acquired taste and there was always only a handful of performers that were really inspired.
