I've never been a model, I was an actress for like a minute, but I've always been a writer. That's where I'm going to stay.

Increasingly, it's actresses doing the big fashion advertising campaigns, and now there's no distinction between actresses and models.

There are loads of actresses that modelled. They just weren't famous. There weren't a lot that were really known as models that became actresses, but there are hordes of them that did modelling before such as Anjelica Huston, Jessica Lange, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore and Geena Davis. There are loads of 'em.

I did model for a little while part-time, but I wasn't a bloody model, and I am definitely not that horrible thing 'model-turned-actress.'

There is a tendency to feature more actresses on covers, but I'm a big model lover. I grew up watching these models, and they gave me the wish, the need, to work in the fashion industry. I loved watching them - their beauty, the way they worked in front of the camera and that power of transformation, especially in the Seventies.

One day, when this modeling thing is over for me and I don't enjoy it anymore, I'm just gonna be gone! You know? I'm not here for fame or money. I'm not going to stick around and pretend everything is cool if I'm over it. When it's done, I'm out. Ciao.

I'm going to try and model myself after Kurt Russell and Jodie Foster.

If you've looked at all the glamour magazines lately, all the covers are actresses. If they are on those covers, they are going to try to emulate models. That's just the way it is.
