You know, I want to be the uncommon one. I think it's pretty cool that I'm only 5'11", you know, and playing in the National Football League.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
I did play two years of high school football and was very short and uncoordinated but the second year I was very tall and skinny and very uncoordinated.
Honestly, being a 5'11" quarterback, not too many people think that you can play in the National Football League. And so for me, you know, I knew that my height doesn't define my skill set, you know? I believed in my talent. I believed in what God gave me. I believed in the knowledge that I have of the game.
I always wanted to be tall, but I'm not, OK?
I thought I was going to the NBA, but God knows, I'm not tall enough. I don't know what I was thinking.
I'm six foot four, an all-American guy, and handsome and talented as well!
Once I grew from 6'1' to about 6'6', by that time I was going into 12th grade, and that's when I started wanting to play basketball, because, pretty much basketball players always got the girl.
I realize I'm very fortunate to hopefully make a lot of money playing football. I don't know if I want to abuse that privilege and make myself a larger figure than I am.
I just want to continue to play football and be myself.
I wouldn't mind being a bit taller.
I am 5'6' and desperately wish I was taller.
