I'm used to being in front of camera and knowing what to think. But if you're asking me to be me, I get very self-conscious. My job isn't to be me. Being an actor, people think you can do a eulogy at a funeral, a speech at a wedding. I find all that very nerve-racking.

I don't want to be famous. I like to be able to sit in a cafe and watch the world go by and observe people.

Every now and then, people will recognize me at restaurants or Universal Studios or something. I'll always take a picture with them if they want. I mean, that's what telling stories and acting for a living are for - for the people.

I remember the first time I went to Europe, I had someone take a picture of me there, so I could really see myself there. There's a sense of being outside yourself, and I think celebrity allows us that too, to be outside ourselves.

I'm from a reserve. A reservation. So I know everybody. Everybody knows me.

I can be myself everywhere and be happy and confident and not feel that I am just what I do.

When I am not on the stage, it is always very difficult for the public to find me! I am a private person who does not always want to be in the spotlight!

I can go everywhere and no one recognises me.

Everywhere we go, people recognize me.
