Keep in mind, our demographics of our state, how it breaks down in terms of political affiliation: over half the people in this state chose not to align themselves with any party at all.

The Republican Party will never again be a majority party until we regain the confidence of the American people. I believe there is room for disagreement within the party, and we should not have litmus tests.

I want to make sure that ours is a party that is focusing on both middle class issues and not becoming a party of our two coasts.

Millennials, minorities, women - until we can connect with those populations, we're going to have some difficulty electorally.
