Being away from the game took a toll on my heart.

The only thing I hope I did was never put in question my love for the game, or my passion to be counted on when it mattered most.

What was important to me was entertaining the audience, and whether that meant winning, losing, singing, or whatever it was on the live show we were doing every week, which was awesome, I was game for it.

I have been tremendously impacted and influenced by my coaches. It's nice to play for people that are going to support you.

Being drafted by the Montreal Canadiens, that was the greatest moment in my career. And stealing the Stanley Cup in 1978 and bringing it back to my hometown of Thurso.

To me it was never about what I accomplished on the football field, it was about the way I played the game.

Being around all the great names of the game at a young age because they were my heroes; the fact this meant so much to Canada. It was just an incredible thing to be a part of.

If you played the game the right way, played the game for the team, good things would happen.
