I feel so lucky to have been in a group where it was a real band. This wasn't a singer and guitar player and some other guys.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
We played some gigs in Switzerland a couple of weeks ago and it was the first time I really felt the group was really a band in the sense of something I could write for.
We were really grown up for our age and it was an incredible special band.
The rest of the band were basically friends, So it was me following them around and begging them to let me be in their band for two or three years. And they finally let me in on the harmonica, actually, and then the keyboards, and finally the guitar.
We used to really feel like the band was our family.
We worked as a team... I was one of the band.
I'm glad I was never in a band.
I learned the songs and played the gigs, and then they called me about a month later. They told me they were like super stoked on me and asked me to join their band.
Every album I've ever been involved in, on the day that it came out I believed in it.
I just wanted to be a part of the band. Actually, that's what inspired me.
I would've loved to have been in a band, but sadly I just wasn't good enough.
