If they understand, which I believe they really are sensing, that the alternative the Republicans have been offering is to repeal what we've done, to go back to Bush policies - and if you asked the public what would you prefer, Bush economic policies or Obama economic policies, they take and prefer Obama economic policies.

The Democrats have essentially decided to move more toward central power, control of just about every aspect of our culture and economy.

Democrats want to use the slowdown as an excuse to do what their special interests are always begging for: higher taxes, bigger government and less trade with other nations.

Republicans in Congress boosted the economy by cutting taxes and ending programs that don't work.
