Everybody's got a Reggie story.

Misconception Number 1, the public always thought, 'Reggie has a massive ego; he's narcissistic, he's cocky, he needs everyone to look at him all the time,' because that's what the media told them. Wrong. I could handle the attention. I didn't let the attention affect my performance. But I never needed the attention.

There had been talk about me getting involved with the new team in Houston. I don't know if it's something that will become a realization, but it would be something that I would love to do.

My goal is to outwork everybody in recruiting, sign the best players in the state, and turn these guys into the best team we can.

I appreciate every team that wants me, and I take on every challenge.

To be a part of a championship team, I'm excited... This is the closest I've ever been to a championship. I'm looking forward to the challenge of helping this team repeat.

I just want to win. I'm a team guy. I just want my team to do well.

You remember driving your kids to Little League, and they're nervous about making the team, and you're encouraging them. Forty years down the road, we're having the same conversation. Only it's about the Ravens and Steelers, or Stanford and Cal.

At the end of the day, if you're not beating the teams on the road recruiting that you have to beat on the field, then you're probably not going to win many championships.
