There's not really much destruction in New York besides the weather and it's a natural force so it's not like any destruction. But LA gets leveled (laughs). That's my comment to Hollywood.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Nothing lasts in New York. The life that is lived there, however, is as intense as it gets.
I love New York. It's hard to explain, but it's the energy of the city. It's not like L.A. where everything is spread out.
See, New York is over the hill. It's swallowed up in its own garbage. And the people - I can't stand the people.
Sometimes, I feel that Manhattan in particular has gotten really tame and gentrified or something.
The artistic element of Manhattan has kind of moved to Brooklyn. Has it changed it? Yeah. Has it ruined it? I would say no. It is what it is. I say better that than an urban war zone.
New York is a bit of a dangerous place to me because you often leave in a blur.
Everyone's expectation of New York is so big, and then you go, 'Oh, it really is like no other place on Earth!'
The fact that New York continues in the face of all of the chaos, of the crime, of the madness, you just think that it would just pop and vanish, just explode.
I love New York. It just reminds me of so many movies... I look up at buildings, and feel like Godzilla should be climbing up them or something.
Creative destruction is gonna be the greatest thing that can happen to Manhattan.
