Personally, I can't see how anyone can produce any beautiful music out of being angry.

I want the people who listen to my music to feel the feeling that I feel, to cry the cry that I cry - justice. I want them to feel in their hearts the need for justice.

All my songs are different, but from the overall experience, I want people to sense that they can overcome and move through difficult times and find strength in my music. Maybe it's a song that makes them cry and move through something else.

When I die, I want people to play my music, go wild and freak out and do anything they want to do.

I think I have some anger-management issues, and they end up coming out in these passive-aggressive songs that sound happy.

Music has to change. I don't want to stay the same forever.

Music is a very powerful thing. If I'm angry, I can write a song about it, and it seems to make everything okay.
