Every day, we hear that somebody got saved to our music from all over the world. The music reaches people. It can encourage them. I feel like I have to do it because there's somebody out there who needs to hear the gospel.

I just play the music that I love with musicians that I respect, and fortunately, I'm in a position where people are willing to play with me, and perhaps I can do something to help them.

But music can save your life sometimes. It probably saved me from working in a bank or something. That's a kind of salvation right there.

I'm glad that my music has helped other people as it's helped me. It makes me glad that I did what I did with my life.

Christians, just like anybody else, want to have an impact on their lives. And if you can find music that helps you have an impact on your family, on your faith, on yourself, then that's the kind of music you want to listen to.

I listen to Christian music.

My whole thing is just to put out positive messages in the music, give people something that can change their lives.

The Christian community latched onto a lot of my music, because there were a lot of things about my struggle they related to. But I didn't really want to come out and be identified as a Christian, because I didn't want to be a hypocrite, because my life wasn't right.

It's almost charity work, what people have done, turning other people on to my music.
