I'm not an Internet person that reads behind-the-scenes stuff. I see a trailer, and if it looks good, then I go. That's that.

It's really not fun to have seen a movie that you want to talk about, and you can't find anyone else who's seen it.

But I don't think of any particular viewer in mind other than myself.

I don't like to watch myself. I can't get into the story; I'm too critical.

I don't watch a lot of my work. I'm not really interested in seeing it after I do it. Because I came from theater, where, you know, it's impossible to actually review your work, so why would I bother under any other circumstances?

When I choose a movie, I'll ask myself: 'Is this a movie I want to see?'

I am not a second option person. It is that or nothing. If it is not the way I see it I prefer not to see it.

I've done so many movies that when I see them I don't really watch them.
