Literally overnight, I became an animator... and one that was well-known.

When I was a teenager, my dad watched my films and told me I could go to art college and study animation. He made me see that I could do this for a living.

I did B com but realised that it was not my cup of tea. I was always fascinated by animation, and after I completed my course, I wanted to go abroad and pursue it. I used to sketch a lot and was rather serious about it. But all this was until I joined films.

I almost became a music major, but somehow I was so enthralled with the camera and becoming a director that I stuck with film school and theatrics.

I had a background in theater as an actor, and then a photographer, and then as an experimental filmmaker and editor.

Then in college I became obsessed with film, and wanted to be part of that.

I was a film student. I became an actor, but I thought I'd be pursuing filmmaking originally.

I did important films when I was very young.

I'd been an actor in high school, and when I got to college, it was all about film.

I made tons of films. I did animation for my friends' films. I animated scenes just for the fun of it. Most of my stuff was bad, but I had fun, and I tried everything I knew to get better.
