Education promotes equality and lifts people out of poverty. It teaches children how to become good citizens. Education is not just for a privileged few, it is for everyone. It is a fundamental human right.

I've been following what's happening in Colombia because it's the country of my childhood.

Education is not a tool for development - individual, community and the nation. It is the foundation for our future. It is empowerment to make choices and emboldens the youth to chase their dreams.

Education is the development of power and ideal.

We've built six schools in Colombia and do work in South Africa and Haiti. We teach 5,000 students.

I believe education should be a right for every child, but tragically in many parts of world it is a privilege for certain children whose parents have money. There are 72 million children in the world who don't go to school and many of them are in Africa.

There are so many people around the world in need of high-quality education and really starving for education.
