The skating community is very fickle. And with me, they're especially fickle for whatever reason. Maybe I bring it on myself, but if you don't prove yourself and you don't skate consistently, then they can very easily write you off and bring somebody from behind you and put them in your place.

We got skate parks in different states, but me skating? Nah, I'm too gangster; I can't rock with it. But I watch it.

California just does not remotely embrace the fact that it's where skateboarding itself was birthed and where 90% of the industry is.

Hopefully, kids realize you can do anything you want. Skateboarding can be that gateway.
