I always knew I wanted to have a good career, so I made it happen.

There were times, sure, I wanted my career to go better. But once it starts to go downhill, you can never get back, or only to some degree.

I certainly feel my career was a great career because it inspired so many many people, literally hundreds of people to follow a new kind of life and to realize that they could make out and advance their own professional and private and social lives.

I've been kind of lucky. I've always just kind of followed whatever my passion was, and that seems to have led me to better places than if I had followed some career trajectory, which I wouldn't even know how to start.

We go through our careers and things happen to us. Those experiences made me what I am.

I've never really had much of a career plan, and interesting opportunities kept cropping up.

It seems like the good things that have happened in my career are things that you don't try to plan and push, and make it happen, it just seems to happen.
