I have a curious background for someone who turns out to be a writer.

Why my interest in writers? Well, I'm one, and many of my friends are writers. I know what it's like to write. I'm interested in the creative process. I'm fascinated by the disparity between who we are on the outside, and what we have bubbling away inside us.

There are three things that make a person a writer: inspiration, perspiration and desperation.

I just have a thing for writers. Maybe it because I'm just so not a writer.

I'm a writer; it's not just what I do, but who I am.

I like to be read. That's most of what any writer could want.

Things happen to all of us. The writer's job is to get you interested.
