I've done some acting and a lot of different things, but mostly it's the music.

I like both music and acting, and they both have a lot in common - timing, immediacy, stuff like that. But acting is more regimented. You wait around for hours, you don't get to write the script, you get hired. Music represents me better. I'm not acting; I'm just expressing myself.

I love acting it's apart of me and I try to put a little bit of myself in each of my roles.

When I'm not working, I don't mix with actors, really. I have about two or three friends from theater school, and we call each other and meet. But in the main, no. I'm more happy with musicians or horse riders or sailors.

I'm more of a writer than an actor, and I used to say that I'm mostly an improviser, though I haven't improvised in awhile.

I love both acting and programming equally. I think it enriches me and enhances me as an artist.

Acting is about animality. It's great to be allowed to be animal. But I feel more alive as a director. Every morning, I have to write.

I really enjoy singing, it's entirely different to acting because I'm just being myself.

The reason I like doing these acting projects is because no matter how much acting I do, I'll always have music in my life. I love having both.
