Great classic music that I've been turned on to has not only inspired and influenced me, but it has had an effect on my songwriting.

I really just dabble in music; I really just did a few albums for my fans.

I guess I always think the people that know me or fans that have followed me and know my solo work would know that I've always had really eclectic tastes - even in Motley, dude.

It makes me feel wonderful that people still care for me... that I have so many fans among young people, who write to me and tell me I have been an inspiration.
